We are on our way, but have a difficult journey ahead of us, as we fight to restore this magical place to its former glory.

The Winter Gardens is run by volunteers, including our Trustees, weekend team, maintenance crew and tour guides, with support from temporary project staff and contractors.
It costs around £4,000 a month to keep the building open.
That means that we need to fundraise at least £50,000 every year to meet just the basic needs of the building.
Restoration costs will run in to many millions of pounds.

Volunteer at the Winter gardens
Give the gift of time. We are looking for people from all backgrounds, ages, skills and experience, to join our team of volunteers.
Opportunities include working with the regular weekend welcoming and catering teams, bringing your practical skills to the maintenance team, or offer ad hoc support as a special events volunteer.
We couldn’t operate without our brilliant volunteers.
