Coming to the historic Morecambe Winter Gardens this October, the Crash Test Dummies bring their unmistakable sound and three decades of alternative-rock history to the stage. 

Since their formation in Winnipeg in the late 1980s, the band has become a global phenomenon, defined by the deep, resonant baritone of lead singer Brad Roberts and their clever, often surrealist songwriting.

Their monumental 1993 album, God Shuffled His Feet, catapulted the band to international superstardom, selling over five million copies worldwide and earning them three Grammy Award nominations. In their native Canada, they were celebrated as the 1992 Juno Award Group of the Year, solidifying their status as one of the era’s most distinctive musical exports.

The band’s legacy is built on a string of atmospheric hits that dominated the airwaves. The hauntingly beautiful “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm” became a global smash, reaching No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, while tracks like “Afternoons & Coffeespoons” and the poignant “Superman’s Song” showcased their unique ability to blend folk-rock with philosophical storytelling.
